Renewal apps for HubSpot.Five groups, five different jobs.
Search the HubSpot App Marketplace for renewals and you get a mix of customer success platforms, contract tools, billing systems and churn scoring, all of which mention the word. They are not competing versions of the same thing. Each is built around a different object, which is what actually determines whether it solves your problem. This page groups them by that, with a link to every official listing so you can check for yourself.

// Built around the customer relationship over time
Customer success platforms
These apps connect HubSpot to a separate customer success workspace. Their listings describe syncing companies, contacts, deals, tickets and custom objects, and several can write data such as health scores or renewal dates back into HubSpot. The team's daily work happens in the platform rather than in HubSpot.
Where the renewal sits: The renewal is one moment inside a much broader account picture that also covers onboarding, adoption, support history and expansion.
// Built around the agreement document
Contract tools with renewal reminders
These apps create agreements from HubSpot records, handle signature, and keep the contract and its dates as structured data. Their listings describe renewal dates and notice periods held as contract metadata, with reminders or generated tasks before a deadline.
Where the renewal sits: Strong when the contract is the source of truth and you want the date to come from the signed document. The reminder is tied to that document rather than to whatever else the account is doing.

// Built around the commercial transaction
Billing, CPQ and revenue reporting
These apps treat the renewal as a quoting, billing or reporting motion. Their listings describe initiating renewal and amendment deals from HubSpot, syncing quote and subscription data, or building dashboards from HubSpot contract data.
Where the renewal sits: Useful once the renewal is already a deal someone is working. Less focused on discovering that a renewal exists and nobody has picked it up.
In the Marketplace
// Built around the probability that a customer leaves
Churn scoring and retention signals
These apps combine HubSpot data with other inputs to produce a churn probability, intent signal or retention analytic, and to trigger campaigns or alerts from it.
Where the renewal sits: A score tells you where to look. It is a different output from a dated next step with a named owner, and it is harder to audit after the fact than an explicit rule over a known date.

// Built around the dated decision
Renewal decision layer
The group above all move HubSpot data somewhere else, or start from a document, a quote or a score. A renewal decision layer does the opposite: it reads the records you already keep in HubSpot, works out when each customer actually renews and how much that timing can be trusted, and writes one owned follow-up back into HubSpot. Nobody learns a new workspace.
Where the renewal sits: at the centre. It is the only thing the product is about, which is also its limit. It will not tell you how adoption is going or whether the champion is happy.
Renewal Radar by Sighub
- Resolves one current renewal timing result per Company from Company, Deal, Subscription, line item, Quote and relevant custom-object records
- Labels that timing as explicit, a renewal-specific proxy, an estimate or none, and keeps the source visible
- Checks whether the renewal is already being worked before deciding anything needs attention
- Creates at most one owned HubSpot task per eligible Company, only when the full task gate passes
- Gives HubSpot agents the same resolved answer through four approved Agent Tools
// How to read this page
What this map does and does not claim.
Every app above is grouped from what its own HubSpot Marketplace listing says it does, checked on 11 September 2026. We have not run these products side by side, and this is not a ranking. Deliberately absent: prices, install counts and star ratings. Those move, and a comparison page that quotes them is wrong within months.
Sighub builds one of the apps on this page, so read the last group with that in mind. The grouping is still the useful part: work out which object your renewal problem is really about, and the shortlist becomes obvious. If the date lives in a signed contract, look at the contract tools. If your team needs a shared view of adoption and health across hundreds of accounts, look at the platforms. If the dates are already in HubSpot and the problem is that nobody acts on them, look at the last group.
Frequently asked questions
Which HubSpot apps handle contract renewals?
Several groups of apps touch renewals from different directions. Customer success platforms connect HubSpot to their own workspace and manage the account relationship. Contract tools generate and store the agreement and remind an owner before a deadline. Billing, CPQ and revenue tools treat the renewal as a quoting or reporting motion. Churn and retention tools score the likelihood that a customer leaves. Renewal Radar sits in a fifth group: it resolves renewal timing from records already in HubSpot and writes the follow-up back into HubSpot.
Do I need a customer success platform to manage renewals in HubSpot?
Not necessarily. A customer success platform earns its place when a large customer base needs consistent segmentation, adoption tracking and playbooks, and when customer success needs its own reporting line. If the open problem is narrower, that renewals pass without a dated and owned next step, a platform is a large answer to a small question.
What is the difference between a contract tool and a renewal tool?
A contract tool is built around the agreement: creating it, signing it, storing it and recording its dates. A renewal tool is built around the action before the date. The two overlap because a contract tool usually knows the renewal date, but knowing the date and making sure someone acts on it are different jobs.
How is Renewal Radar different from the other renewal apps in the Marketplace?
Most apps in this space move HubSpot data into their own workspace, where the customer success team then works. Renewal Radar keeps the work in HubSpot. It resolves one current renewal timing result per Company from records you already keep, labels how trustworthy that timing is, and creates at most one owned HubSpot task when the full task gate passes. It produces no health score and no churn prediction.
