Renewal Radar now works with HubSpot agents
By Ulas ArslanPublished
Give your HubSpot agent more than data. Give it a clear next move.
HubSpot has approved Renewal Radar’s four Agent Tools. Your agent can now find accounts that need attention, explain the risk, pause an alert and record a confirmed renewal result. Your team and your agent work from the same answer. That is what we mean by the decision layer for HubSpot agents.
What changes for your team?
A contract date may sit on a deal. The account owner is on the company record. The next meeting is somewhere else. Before you can act, someone has to bring those details together.
Renewal Radar does that work with clear rules. It checks supported dates, looks for missing follow-up and shows which accounts need attention. Now your HubSpot AI agent can use that result too.
For customer success teams, this means a new way to review renewals. Ask a question, see the reason behind the answer and choose the next step.
How HubSpot Agent Tools work
An agent handles your question. A tool gives it a specific ability, such as looking up a company or saving an outcome. You choose which tools your agent can use.
HubSpot explains this in its Agent Tools guide. With Renewal Radar, the agent gets the risk result and the facts behind it. It does not need to work out the business rules from scratch.
Four tools, from the first question to the final result
Find the accounts that need attention
List Renewal Radar at-risk renewals returns a list with risk level, renewal timing and account owners. It shows 10 results by default, with up to 25 per call.
Understand one company’s risk
Get Renewal Radar company risk explains why an account needs attention. It can include the date source, how certain the result is, the next step and an existing follow-up task.
Pause an alert
Snooze Renewal Radar company risk pauses an alert for 14 days when you ask. You can add a reason. The alert can return after the pause if the risk is still there.
Record what happened
Record a Renewal Radar outcome saves a confirmed renewed or churned result. Both close the open Renewal Radar follow-up task. Renewed marks the account healthy for 90 days. Churned removes it from further renewal monitoring.
A simple example of renewal management in HubSpot
Imagine an account whose contract ends in 42 days. The date is on a deal, but no renewal follow-up is in place. Start with this question:
“Use Renewal Radar to show the ten accounts that need attention. Include their renewal dates and owners.”
Then ask about one company using its HubSpot Company ID. Your agent can return the date, the reason for the risk and the next step. If the date is only an estimate, that stays clear in the result.
When the customer confirms a renewal, you can ask the agent to record it. A meeting or a reply alone does not count as a confirmed renewal.
How to set up Renewal Radar in Agent Hub or Breeze Studio
First, connect Renewal Radar, activate Team or Partner, enable monitoring and let the first scan finish.
Next, open your agent in Agents → Agent Hub. Choose Add action, open the HubSpot tab and find Renewal Radar. If your account still shows Breeze Studio, open the agent’s Configure screen and choose Add tool.
Add the two read tools first. Test a lookup with a real Company ID. Add the action tools if your agent should pause alerts or record results. Save and publish your changes.
The Agent Tools setup guide includes instructions you can paste into your agent. HubSpot also explains its current agent builder and Breeze Studio setup.
One answer for your team and your agents
Renewal Radar uses fixed rules to reach a decision. The same facts and rule version give the same result. Your agent may explain it in different words, but it starts from that result.
Tool lookups use the latest available scan results. They do not run a new full scan each time you ask. Full scans run about daily on Team. Your team can still use the HubSpot card and reports alongside the agent.
Explore Renewal Radar’s approved Agent Tools or compare Team and Partner. The free scan is a useful first look at your accounts; Agent Tools need a paid plan. HubSpot’s current custom agent builder also needs a Professional or Enterprise subscription. HubSpot agent access and credits apply separately.
