Limitations & FAQ
What the current version of Sighub does not do, plus quick answers to the questions that come up most often.
Current limitations
Sighub is an early-stage product. Known limitations:
- Company records only. No Contact or Deal record cards.
- No AI, predictive models, churn scores, or sentiment analysis.
- No reading of email, note, call, meeting, or ticket content. Metadata only.
- No manual snooze, dismiss, or override of risk decisions.
- No way to pause or deactivate task automation after activation.
- Medium risk does not create HubSpot tasks.
- Engagement thresholds (e.g., 28-day reply window) are not user-configurable.
- Renewal window is limited to 30, 60, or 90 days.
- No currency conversion. Amounts display in their original currency.
- No account segmentation or exclusion rules.
- No real-time CRM webhooks. Scanning is scheduled or triggered by refresh.
- Deleted Sighub tasks may not be recreated for the same unchanged risk state.
- Sighub-created tasks are not removed from HubSpot on uninstall.
Who Sighub is for
Sighub is designed for teams responsible for renewals and customer relationships:
- RevOps teams
- Customer Success Managers
- Account Managers
- Founders managing B2B retention
Sighub is most useful when engagement signals are scattered across HubSpot activity history and nobody is systematically checking them.
Common questions
Does Sighub use AI or predict churn?
No. Sighub uses deterministic rules applied to HubSpot metadata. There is no AI, machine learning, or churn prediction model.
Does Sighub read my emails or notes?
No. Sighub reads email metadata (timestamps, direction, reply status) but never reads email body content, note content, call recordings, or meeting notes.
Is a contract end date required?
No. Contract end date mapping is optional. Without it, Sighub cannot evaluate renewal timing and operates in engagement-only mode.
Does Sighub modify my HubSpot data?
No. Sighub reads CRM metadata and creates follow-up tasks. It does not modify existing Company, Contact, Deal, or Ticket records.
Does Sighub create duplicate tasks?
Not exactly. If you manually complete a Sighub task while the same high risk still exists, Sighub may create a new task on the next scan. It will not create a second task while an existing one is still open.
Are tasks created for medium risk?
No. Only high and critical risks generate HubSpot tasks. Medium risks are visible in the Sighub card only.
Can I snooze or override a risk decision?
No. Risk state is driven entirely by live HubSpot data. To resolve a flagged risk, update the data in HubSpot (schedule a meeting, update the contract date, etc.).
Can I customize risk thresholds?
The renewal alert window is configurable (30, 60, or 90 days). Other thresholds, such as the engagement reply window, are not user-configurable in the current version.
Can I uninstall Sighub?
Yes. Uninstalling removes all stored Sighub data (config, tokens, snapshots). Tasks previously created in HubSpot are not removed.
Where can I get support?
Email info@sighub.io. We typically respond within a few hours on business days.
