Limitations & FAQ

What the current version of Sighub does not do, plus quick answers to the questions that come up most often.

Current limitations

Sighub is an early-stage product. Known limitations:

  • The record card lives on Company records only — no Contact or Deal record cards. A central triage view of all flagged accounts is available in the Sighub settings panel.
  • No AI, predictive models, churn scores, or sentiment analysis.
  • No reading of email, note, call, meeting, or ticket content. Metadata only.
  • No one-click pause of task automation portal-wide. Canceling the subscription pauses monitoring, and per-account controls (snooze, mark healthy, exclude) are available on the card.
  • Medium risk does not create HubSpot tasks.
  • Some thresholds are fixed and not user-configurable: the 14-day high-severity renewal cutoff and the 30-day post-expiry grace period. (The renewal alert window, the engagement reply-staleness window, the engagement high/critical day counts, and the open-ticket threshold are configurable in settings.)
  • Renewal alert window is limited to 30, 60, or 90 days.
  • Per-account amounts display in their original currency. Portfolio ARR figures are converted into your HubSpot home currency using your own HubSpot exchange rates when multi-currency and the optional currency access are available; otherwise they fall back to the most common currency.
  • No bulk segmentation or exclusion rules. Accounts are excluded one by one from the card or triage view.
  • No real-time CRM webhooks. Scanning is scheduled or triggered by refresh.
  • Deleted Sighub tasks may not be recreated for the same unchanged risk state.
  • Sighub-created tasks are not removed from HubSpot on uninstall.

Who Sighub is for

Sighub is designed for RevOps and CS leaders running renewals inside HubSpot without a dedicated customer success platform:

  • RevOps teams
  • Customer Success Managers
  • Account Managers
  • Founders managing B2B renewals in HubSpot

Sighub is most useful when renewal timing is scattered across HubSpot objects — deals, line items, quotes, subscriptions or custom objects — and there is no single clean Company field a workflow could fire on.

Setup and limitations FAQ

Does Sighub use AI or predict churn?

No. Sighub uses deterministic rules applied to HubSpot metadata. There is no AI, machine learning, or churn prediction model.

Does Sighub read my emails or notes?

No. Sighub reads email metadata (timestamps, direction, reply status) but never reads email body content, note content, call recordings, or meeting notes.

Is a Company contract end date required?

No. Mapping a Company contract end date is recommended but not required. Sighub also finds renewal timing on deals, line items, quotes, subscriptions and custom objects. If no renewal timing can be found anywhere for a customer, Sighub falls back to an activity-only check for that customer, with lower confidence and clear labeling in the card.

Does Sighub modify my HubSpot data?

No. Sighub reads CRM metadata and creates follow-up tasks. It does not modify existing Company, Contact, Deal, or Ticket records.

Does Sighub create duplicate tasks?

Not exactly. If you manually complete a Sighub task while the same high risk still exists, Sighub may create a new task on the next scan. It will not create a second task while an existing one is still open.

Are tasks created for medium risk?

No. Only high and critical risks generate HubSpot tasks. Medium risks are visible in the Sighub card only.

Can I snooze or override a risk decision?

Yes. On the Sighub card you can snooze a risk for 14 days, mark an account healthy for 90 days, or record a Renewed or Lost outcome. Every control can be undone from the card. See the Risk controls docs page for details.

Can I customize risk thresholds?

Several are configurable in the Sighub settings: the renewal alert window (30, 60, or 90 days), the engagement reply-staleness window (default 28 days, range 15–90), the engagement high and critical day counts, and the open-ticket threshold. A few are fixed and not user-configurable: the 14-day high-severity renewal cutoff and the 30-day post-expiry grace period.

What does Sighub cost?

The renewal exposure scan and report are free. Monitoring and self-resolving tasks need the Team plan (€99 per portal, per month). Agencies can use the Partner plan (€399 per month, up to 10 client portals). See the Plans & billing docs page.

Can I share the renewal report?

Yes. Every connected portal has a renewal exposure report you can download as a PDF, and you can turn on a read-only report link to forward to a budget owner or client. The link opens with no login, is not indexed, and can be revoked. See the Triage & reports docs page.

Which companies does Sighub scan?

Companies whose lifecycle stage is 'customer', evangelists with an active contract, and companies that closed a deal in the last 90 days (even if the stage has not been updated yet). Post-expiry, a company stays in scope for 30 days before dropping off. Prospects and leads are excluded automatically.

Does Sighub run scans in parallel?

No. A scan lease prevents two scans from running at the same time. If a scan is already in progress when another trigger fires, the new request waits or is skipped.

Can I uninstall Sighub?

Yes. Uninstalling removes all stored Sighub data (config, tokens, snapshots). Tasks previously created in HubSpot are not removed.

Where can I get support?

Email info@sighub.io. We typically respond within a few hours on business days.
